Parades are no place to feel melancholy. With Christmas just around the corner, the following were popular places to go with friends or family to celebrate beforehand:
On December 1: Belmont Shore Parade- Known for its marching down East second street to the beats of a plethora of marching bands and many dressed up puppys.
On December 8: Daisy Lane Parade- A long beach tradition filled with nothing but Christmas spirit, making its way down Daisy Avenue.
On December 8: Naples Island Boat Parade- Large boats floating by while people eat at nearby restaurants and carolers sing holiday songs.
December 15 will be the Parade of 1000 Lights- Located by Downtown Long Beach’s Shoreline with boats decorated admirably floating by.
